CREATIVE DIRECTION

KATLIN SUPPLY CO.

EXPOSITION

Wellness with something to say. Natural goods for the body, made for mindful people.

Katlin Supply Co. was a naturally made soap and home goods brand I co-founded and operated end-to-end alongside my partner. From brand identity to product execution, we built Katlin as a fully realized ecosystem—one where design, wellness, and everyday ritual intersected. Together, we oversaw every aspect of the business, balancing creative vision with hands-on operations to bring a thoughtful, small-batch brand to life.

My role focused primarily on brand strategy, visual identity, packaging, copywriting, website and e-commerce, product sourcing, and marketing, with crossover into photography, production, operations, and fulfillment. My partner led key efforts across product development, production and operations, fulfillment, photography, and social outreach—allowing us to work in tandem while maintaining a shared creative and ethical vision.

At its core, Katlin was built around the belief that wellness should feel tangible, personal, and human. Our modern visual aesthetic—paired with an intentionally uncomplicated photographic style—was designed to reflect human nature while reinforcing our brand ethos. The products were created not only to be used, but to be noticed: objects that could stand on their own as compelling pieces, carry stories that created space for conversation, and create moments of connection and education, making ingredients more visible, understandable, and meaningful in everyday life. This philosophy showed up everywhere, from sculptural soaps to considered packaging that felt more like a statement than a commodity.

Our messaging mirrored a commitment to simplicity, mindfulness, and natural integrity. One of our most defining expressions, Death Before Dirt, became both a branded mantra and a visual symbol: an illustrated mark of life growing from a skull. It signaled the purity of our ingredients, the earth-first philosophy behind our sourcing, and the meaning of “Katlin” itself—pure. Nothing synthetic, nothing unnecessary, nothing harmful to the body or the planet.

Katlin ultimately served as both a brand and a proving ground—demonstrating how intentional design, educational storytelling, and operational rigor can work together to create products that are meaningful, memorable, and worthy of daily ritual.
